OUR TREES
For over 130 years, we have mastered growing our cacao trees through sustainable agriculture based on microclimates and environmental conditions unique to our farm's location: Albay, Bicol, Philippines. As a result, even our heritage cacao trees boast vegetal development and fruit production.
OUR BEANS
Before grinding our organic beans, we employ a multilevel screening process. This means only the best of our high-quality Trinitario beans make our products. Our local chocolatiers' traditional roasting, grinding and incubation techniques impeccably capture Albay's terroir in our products.
OUR CACAO POWDER
We grow exclusively Trinitario cacao, world's rare cacao variety (10-15%) which makes our products even more special. Trinitario cacao produces high-quality, highly valued, very aromatic and less bitter beans. Alea Chocolates are naturally floral, distinctly flavorful, teeming with history and character.
